Planos para mudança do local dos programas ao vivo teria sido cancelado devido a restrições orçamentais, de acordo com um relatório. Na semana passada, foi dito que a final seria no Excel Centre em Londres, em vez de sua atual casa no Fountain Studios em Wembley.
Propostas para a mudança supostamente vieram em meio a temores de que a ITV1 tinha “crescido” sua atual sede, devido à maior escalada das audições e boot camp esse ano. No entanto, um “insider” já disse ao The Mirror: “Foi uma possibilidade real por um tempo, mas como ela não é como um estúdio de TV, teria custado muito para fazer todos os equipamentos de radiodifusão sonora e de estágios.”
Acredita-se que o produtores tenham decidido optar pela opção mais barata para a preparação para os shows ao vivo. A notícia prende-se a rumores de que Simon Cowell teria uma sala própria no Fountain Studios esse ano.
